Since the middle to late 20th century, climate change, which is the modification of weather in global or regional climate patterns, has become more pronounced. Global warming, often known as climate change, has been taking place recently.
Millions of people are likely to relocate due to climate change, and scientists fear that we could be driving the earth closer to ecological catastrophe. The disastrous repercussions of extreme weather events, which are made worse by climate change, are already affecting millions of people. This raises the question, "What is the cause of climate change?" The main three causes of this problem are as follows.
1. Burning fossil fuels: For almost all economic sectors, burning fossil fuels like coal, gas, and oil is the main source of emissions. More than 70% of global GHG emissions come from it.
2. Agriculture and deforestation: According to the IPCC, agriculture is the second-highest source of emissions after the energy sector, accounting for almost a quarter (23%) of all GHG emissions.
3. Land use change: Deforestation, forest degradation, and forest fires are just a few examples of land use and land use changes that significantly contribute to GHG emissions. In ruminant animals like cattle, sheep, and goats, the natural digestive process accounts for up to 40% of the emissions.
Moreover, 30% to 50% of all species on earth would become extinct by the end of this century. Water shortages might be catastrophic for the globe. It's just "CLIMATE CHANGE" that's to blame for all of this dread. Hence, now is the moment to act appropriately; else, everyone will experience the worst-case scenario recorded in human history.
