Biryani is a dish that is made from rice that has been fried before being cooked. There are many different theories about the origin of this dish, but most experts believe that it originated in Persia and was brought to India by the Mughals. Over time, the Mughal royals developed biryani into its present form. There are many stories about how Biryani came to be. One story is about how Mumtaz Mahal, the wife of Shah Jahan, saw that the Mughal soldiers were not getting enough food. She asked the chefs to make a dish with meat and rice, and the
dish was cooked with spices and saffron over a wood fire.
One legend says that Biryani was brought to India by the Turk Mongol conqueror, Taimur, in the year 1398. Even the Nizams of Hyderabad and Nawabs of Lucknow were known for their love of this dish. Everywhere in the world, people enjoy eating a dish called biryani. This dish is made
by cooking rice in a clay pot on a fire. Many people from all over the world travel to India to taste this delicious food.
